ChatGPT, is a groundbreaking innovation created by the OpenAI company/non-profit. ChatGPT was launched on November 30, 2022, and has quickly revolutionized human-computer interaction. 

Chat-GPT is an acronym for a type of technology called a Chat Generative Pre-trained Transformer.

This AI-driven tool uses advanced natural language processing to generate responses that are remarkably human-like in their tone, structure, and relevance. At the core of this science and technology is the idea of Large Language Models


A Large Language Model (LLM), is a sophisticated AI algorithm that leverages deep learning techniques to process and analyze vast datasets. This model is not just a simple text interpreter; it's capable of a wide range of functions including recognizing patterns, translating languages, summarizing content, generating text, predicting outcomes, understanding context, and even conceiving new ideas. 

LLMs are trained on extensive text data sourced from diverse platforms like the internet, Wikipedia, and Common Crawl. The training methodologies include unsupervised, semi-supervised, or self-supervised learning, allowing the model to develop an understanding of language nuances.

The effectiveness of an LLM is often measured by its perplexity score, which assesses its ability to predict and understand data. 


ChatGPT operates by processing a user's text input, known as a prompt, and generating a contextually relevant response. As a large language model, it functions like an extensive computer program, proficient in understanding and producing natural language. 

Programmed primarily in Python, ChatGPT utilizes its vast training data to predict and formulate responses that are most likely to be accurate and relevant to the given prompt.

Poe AI is available on iOS, Android, MacOS, and the web through a browser. It utilizes models from various sources like OpenAI, Anthropic, Stable Diffusion XL, Google, Meta, and community-created bots. 


A CSV (comma-separated values) file is a text file that stores data in a tabular format. CSV files are commonly used in spreadsheets and databases. They are often used to exchange data between different software applications.

ChatGPT can interpret both text and CSV files as prompts specifically by utilizing the upload button. When users upload files to ChatGPT they give the model access to more data and information which enhances the capabilities of the model. 

Likewise, ChatGPT can be used to organize and analyze data, which can be exported as .csv files for use in applications such as Microsoft Excel or Shopify. The file upload feature in ChatGPT enhances its data processing capabilities, allowing for sophisticated data analysis and visualization.  

We use spreadsheets to import, collect, and analyze data from our website on Shopify, such as data from customer lists, order information, and website traffic analytics. This information can be further organized and sorted using spreadsheets, and we can create data visualizations, charts, etc that help us understand what's going on behind the scenes. 


DAN is an acronym for “Do Anything Now”. These prompts are designed to push the boundaries of the AI's standard operational framework, enabling it to function in a more expansive and less restricted mode.

DAN Prompts basically are a form of "jail-breaking" ChatGPT's capabilities so as to allow users the ability to delve into a broader range of topics and obtain more nuanced, detailed, and specific answers than typically possible. Using a DAN prompt, ChatGPT enters an unrestricted mode of operation, allowing it to bypass some of its standard limitations. 

DAN can be used to get around OpenAI's safety features to make ChatGPT give specific answers. However, there are still strict rules against making violent, sexual, or harmful content.

DAN prompts constantly become outdated due to updates to Chat GPT by OpenAI to prevent people from purposefully forcing the language learning model to break its own rules and constraints. 


One advanced method for using ChatGPT is to create “expert” prompts. These prompts enable users to command the AI to assume specific professional roles. This feature allows ChatGPT to provide specialized responses, making interactions more tailored and contextually relevant to specific fields.

The basic idea behind an “expert” prompt is that you are telling Chat GPT to assume a role or identity, and that this will force the language model to adapt to queries and responses by using a more anthropomorphic approach. 

The process of creating an "expert" in ChatGPT is straightforward yet powerful. Users initiate this mode by framing their prompts with phrases like "You are" or "Act as." This simple directive triggers the AI to modify its response style and content, aligning it with the specified profession or area of expertise.

Available to all developers with access to GPT-4, the gpt-4-vision-preview model, coupled with the updated Chat Completions API, now supports image inputs, heralding a new era in AI-driven image and text interactivity. 

One of the most intriguing applications of this technology is in the realm of web scraping.

Traditionally, web scraping involved extracting data from the HTML code of websites. However, with the integration of GPT-4 and Vision, this process transcends previous limitations, enabling the extraction of information directly from screen displays. One of the most exciting aspects of these custom GPTs is the integration of custom actions through APIs (Application Programming Interfaces).
