INSPIRE Digital Media Internship

Our Digital Media Internship program is an exceptional opportunity for local talent looking to hone their digital media skills.
If you're a resident of Germanna, University of Mary Washington, FXBG, Stafford, or Spotsylvania, this is your chance to make your mark. Here's what we offer:
1. Paid Internship with Stipend
As an INSPIRE Digital Media Intern, you will receive a stipend for your valuable contributions. Your dedication and hard work will be rewarded.
2. Software Mastery
Learn the ins and outs of essential software tools, including Shopify, Wordpress, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Open Broadcast Studio (OBS), EOS Utility Pro, and livestreaming on YouTube, Twitch, Discord, and Instagram using a professional studio setup
3. AI Generative Art
Master the use of cutting-edge AI generative art tools like Midjourney and DALL-E. These skills will set you apart in the world of digital media.
4. Adobe Creative Cloud Suite
Enhance your skills with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite software, including Photoshop, Adobe Express, Lightroom, Premier, and InDesign. Acquire the skills to edit videos professionally using Final Cut Pro and PowerDirector Pro.

REQUIREMENTS FOR INTERNSHIPS / RESIDENCY
To participate in our programs, you must meet the following requirements:

Hold a part-time or full-time job elsewhere during the residency

Pass a criminal background check (No felons or individuals with a history of violent crimes/theft/sex crimes)

Be 21+ years of age
Art Residency Rent: $500/month (Includes access to office/studio space, internet, Wi-Fi, shower, bathroom, kitchen, free parking, convenient access to Downtown FXBG, and a safe place to sleep.)
RULES & REGULATIONS
To maintain a productive and respectful environment, please adhere to the following rules:

Provide your own groceries and funding for projects (we offer some assistance but expect you to invest in your creative development)

No alcohol is permitted on the premises
-
Pets are not allowed
-
Occasional assistance with INSPIRE events and projects may be required
HOW TO APPLY
To apply, please follow these steps:

Provide a link to your creative portfolio or website.

We will respond within 7 business days to schedule an interview via video chat, phone, or in-person.

You will be required to submit a criminal background check through the Virginia State Police (https://vspapps.vsp.virginia.gov/catspublic/public/publicHome.html). The cost is $30 and can be paid online at the provided link.

Include a copy of your creative resume and attach pictures or videos of your completed works that showcase your artistic medium, style, and skill level.

Include any relevant links to your social media, websites, SoundCloud, Spotify, blogs, or other platforms showcasing your work.
